How to Take Kedi Qinghao Capsule

Kedi Qinghao Capsule must be administered strictly according to the following schedule. The oral dose should be taken with water. The total adult treatment course comprises 8 capsules administered across four time points over 48 hours.

Adults and adolescents aged 16 years and above:

Take 2 capsules at 0 hours (first dose at time of initial administration), 2 capsules at 6 hours, 2 capsules at 24 hours, and 2 capsules at 48 hours. Total: 8 capsules.

Children aged 7 to 15 years:

Take 1 capsule at 0 hours, 1 capsule at 6 hours, 1 capsule at 24 hours, and 1 capsule at 48 hours. Total: 4 capsules.

Important dosing notes:

♦ Administer strictly according to the schedule — do not alter timing or dose without medical advice

♦ Piperaquine Phosphate has a long half-life — do not repeat a full treatment course within half a month (15 days) under any circumstances
